Unfortunately, this kidding didn’t go as expected.

Daphne had a rough kidding, here is her story.

This channel is all about our adventures creating and living on our 1-acre farm right in the middle of the city of Phoenix, Arizona! We have a small plot of land, but boy, do we make the most of it. We start each day with milking our adorable herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats and gathering eggs from the flock of chickens. We use the fresh goat's milk to make cheese, butter, cream, and we use it in all sorts of baking & cooking. 

We love that we can walk into our backyard and gather food from the goats, chickens, fruit trees, or garden. It's the best feeling ever! Each animal on our farm is taken care of ethically. We let the mama goats raise their babies until they reach 10 weeks of age and are naturally weaned from nursing. We focus on breeding for strong genetics but we still have our fun pets like the queen of the herd, Luna, our Nubian goat or Willow, the first baby we kept on the farm.
