At one point the Arena Shooter genre was king of all FPS games. From Doom to Duke Nukem, Quake and Unreal Tournament, the genre has a long history of successful and beloved IP's. But in the last 15 years or so, it seems this genre of FPS has fallen completely out of relevance. Why?
