We had some customers come in needing their vehicle retrieved from the middle of Hamburger Hill on Kane Creek Trail. They said they had got hung up on the big ledge and couldn't get out. We loaded up and headed in. On e we reached the vehicle we realized it was a rental car. That's when we started talking with them about how they had got there. They had followed a book rating the trail as 'easy'. Which up until the last 3-4 years it was, but due to flooding and erosion the trail has become increasingly difficult the last few years. Always remember to check updated trail conditions and if possible, never travel alone. We got them out and back on pavement as quickly and safely as we could.
