SPRING lambing with WINTER problems.🥶 | Vlog 679

Soooo.... I typically plan spring lambing for mid-March to make sure I MISS the frigid cold of winter.
Mother Nature is laughing right now.

March has been way colder than usual this week, making lambing (especially early lambs) very challenging in this barn.
Saturday was all about saving lambs, and I even learned a new Dextrose injection trick that I will be forever using!!

Sunday, we lost a set of twins that I'm still scratching my head about.
...but likely, the cold played a role.

AND... yet another ewe down with pregnancy toxemia... well, not quite down... YET.
