Phoenix PD handcuffed, detained Wall Street Journal reporter

UPDATE: Phoenix police are conducting an administrative investigation into the detainment of a Wall Street Journal reporter, according to the department’s first public statement about the incident. The emailed statement did not specify the date that Phoenix launched the internal probe.

The Wall Street Journal is demanding the Phoenix PD conduct an internal review and take action to ensure journalists’ rights are protected after one of its reporters was handcuffed and detained.
