Happy Valentines Vlog!! We are up, because like Christmas or any other holiday, Adley and Niko wake up super early. That’s ok cause both kiddos need to get their valentine’s cards ready for their school classes. One of our family traditions is to “heart attack” everyone’s bedroom doors. Basically we write our favorite things about everyone on paper hearts then hang them on their door. We do these arts and crafts, getting ready for school, and doing our morning routine.
We need to go Navey! While heading upstairs, we wonder if any secret admirers brought any surprises. We investigate in Adley’s room and find that she got some mail. She opens the note to find that all the letters are jumbled up, but it's not gibberish or baby talk, it's a code. After some trial and error, Adley figures out that she needs to use letters just before those written down. While we keep eating breakfast, Adley is working on decoding the message. But oops, we forgot to get Navey. I run upstairs and get my cute and youngest valentine.
Adley finishes decoding her secret message, it turns out it’s a secret message from me inviting her and Navey on a daddy daughter date. We are going to have a spa day, get our toe nails done, get some new toy and games from the dollar store, then head to get ice cream. OH! while we are getting massaged and pampered, Navey is watching our brand new Spacestation animation, where Adley and Niko turns into babies and dad has to take care of them all! While we are on our date night, Jenny and Niko go to the arcade for a mom son date for valentines day! And just like us, mom and niko go get ice cream, at the exact same place. We almost saw each other!! It was such a fun time. Be sure to watch on A for Adley
But no valentines would be complete without a hot date with Jenny. I trick her into heading to the spacestation, where I surprise her by having a car ready to take us to our date. We are off to the super romantic…..city dump! We have been working on a newer project called Nodal, where we convert methane from decomposing trash, convert it to energy to be used to power things like our house, the spacestation, or even mine for bitcoin. It’s a little stinky, but it's amazing to see one of our coolest ideas up and running. And, it makes it so the Spacestation is carbon neutral!!
After dinner time and getting the kiddos in bed, I have one more present to give Jenny. If you know her at all, you know she’s a huge Harry Potter fan. So I got us the Hogwarts Legacy game to play together. We help each other make our characters and as we are talking and reminiscing about our old game nights, we realize it’s perfect for a new P for Parents video. So be on the look out for that to drop!!
