In Hannity interview, defendant Trump admits to obstruction of justice, reveals his motive
Under the heading of "you can't make this stuff up," defendant Trump sits for an interview with Fox Entertainment host Sean Hannity. When Hannity suggests to Trump that he never would have told people to bring him the boxes of classified documents that were improperly removed form the White House and unlawfully retained at Mar-a-Lago, Trump fails to grab the lifeline. Instead Trump insists, "I had the right to take stuff." Fact check - he didn't have the right to take government documents. This is, in substance an admission that Trump obstructed justice. But in a staggering display of stupidity, Trump THEN goes on to reveal the motive behind his crime: "Did you know they ended up paying Richard Nixon $18 million for what he had?" Trump made it crystal clear - he held classified documents hostage for financial gain.
All that's left now, is for Trump to be indicted federally for his crimes.
