We’ve discussed Kaigaku an Upper Moon Demon that Muzan DIDN’T create himself, but Kaigaku isn’t the only one. In Demon Slayer Season 2 we’re introduced to Daki and Gyutaro, who when they were alive had a really hard life. The siblings were born into a life of poverty and neglect, and eventually their parents passed away, with Daki being named after the sickness that took her mother, with her original name Ume. As the two lived on the streets of the Entertainment district, they both found ways to make ends meet with Daki becoming an oiran and Gyutaro becoming a debt collector, however one day when Daki jams a hairpin in the eye of a customer who didn’t pay for her services, the customer who was a Ninja likely from Uzui’s village, set her ablaze, starting a sequence of a events that would have Gyutaro enacting revenge for his sister in cold blood, realizing that humans were trash and that nobody was coming to save him or his sister, until Douma appears having freshly eaten someone nearby, and offers the two his blood, creating Upper Moon 6 out of the two demons even though Muzan only liked Gyutaro.
