0:00 Intro
0:05 They mentioned it was an early 2000s Chrysler (did not remember what model). But luckily it's no longer on the road!
0:22 Somehow her husband got an old brake pad stuck behind the new rotor and backing plate. Not sure how he did it, but that was the cause of the noise.
0:34 "2016 Kia Soul. Video pretty much speaks for itself. Tho it was more of a "thumping" noise than a "clicking" noise but that's what the customer said."
0:48 "I believe that is a religious (Hindu) scarf tied to the steering wheel and the customer decided to wrap it around the clockspring to secure it, causing it to tangle on turns and create static. I actually untied it at first and did the diag to confirm the issue...then I re-tied it for the video lol. The customer just purchased it 300 km / 186 miles (3 weeks) ago from our used car dept and has decided to go ahead and replace the clockspring for tomorrow."
1:00 "2020 Buick Enclave fixed after TAC technical assistance center sent special program code after waiting for 3 weeks for their engineering team to come up with a solution."
1:12 The customer declined repairs to get any of those issues fixed. The rear shocks were also the stocks that came with the lift kit (as the front is only lifted), so they were bottomed out. The rear differential was low on gear oil as well.
1:38 Front brake rotors were worn down to the cooling vanes, worn out lower ball-joint and brake hoses pinched off. The technician did not mention the whole list of repairs that it needed but they got all of them done.
1:48 Not sure why the customer did not install a new wheel bearing when they installed new brakes. However, the worn-out wheel bearing on the passenger side destroyed the new brake rotors, caliper bracket, and brake caliper. They will need a new cv-axle and spindle now as well.
1:58 Shop refused to work on the truck as the customer had cut the frame on it. The technician said it needed a new exhaust manifold, gasket, and manifold studs.
2:12 One bolt for the upper control arm is missing and the other one is loose and almost all the way backed out. Seems to be a common issue on these Chevrolet Trailblazers from what the technician said.
2:25 Around 4 gallons/ 15.1 litres of coolant was added to the engine.
2:38 No extra info.
2:55 2008 GMC Sierra 2500HD 6.6L 230k km.
"The customer came in for no defrost, we found faulty mode and temp actuator. Then noticed a lack of airflow. The customer said they replaced the blower motor themself and it couldn't be the issue. They ground off the housing to install the wrong fan used fencing wire to fix it and then taped off around it. Installing the proper fan and fixing damages to the HVAC case solved the issue."
3:06 Tailgateception.
3:20 Outro. Thanks for watching!
