Ingredients - 6 good quality sausages (pork, beef, lamb - use what you fancy) - 1 tbsp olive oil - 1 green apple, sliced thin - 1 brown onion, sliced thin - 4 cloves garlic, diced fine - Small bunch thyme, cut fine - 2 tbsp flour - 1 tin cherry tomatoes - 500ml chicken stock - 1 tbsp soy sauce - 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce - 1 tbsp English mustard - 1 tsp black pepper - 1 tsp smoked paprika - 1 tsp chilli flakes - Salt to taste (you should not need much) - Mash to serve - Parsley to garnish Method 1. Start by browning your sausages off over medium heat in a large saucepan. Once you have a good colour on the sausages, remove from the pan and set aside. 2. Add the olive oil to the pan and once it comes up to temperature, add the onions and sauté for 3 minutes. 3. Next, add the garlic, apple and thyme and cook for a further 3-4 minutes. 4. Now add the flour and stir well, cook the flour out for 3-4 minutes 5. Add the tin tomatoes and stock and over high heat and mix until the flour has dissolved. 6. Mix in the soy, Worcestershire, mustard and spices then add the sausages back to the pan. 7. Simmer for 10 minutes or until the sausages are cooked through. 8. Garnish with chopped parsley and served with mash. Enjoy!

8 Hour Oil Change on a New Ventrac 4520P
It’s time to change the oil on the Ventrac- this machine is brand new, and the first oil change is due after 8 hours. This tractor is the 4520P which has the Kawasaki twin cylinder 31 hp engine. The drain plug is super easy to get to and an oil pan fits right underneath. The oil filter is on the right side of the machine behind this engine cover. So funny story- the last time I changed the oil on my old Ventrac it was my birthday and my wife forgot for the entire day, so I had her come out in the garage to see the date I wrote down for the oil change. She realized right away and couldn’t believe she had forgotten. So, make sure to tell Mrs. Haus Plans in the comments not to forget my birthday this year. I like to put a little oil around the gasket on the oil filter -this helps it seal to the housing. Once the filter gasket contacts the housing, I give it another ½ turn by hand. The oil that came out of this tractor was still really clean, but it’s important to change the oil early on a new engine since there is the potential for metal particles to be in the oil as the new parts wear in. After I check the dip stick to make sure the oil level is where it should be, I start the engine and let it run a little. Then I shut it off and check it again. From here on out the engine oil only needs to be changed every 100 hours.
