This Toshiba Qosmio is a gaming laptop from 2008 that weighs 10 pounds, and the charger alone weighs 2 pounds. I've only ever repaired one of these in my life back in 2013, and it was one of the most intense teardowns I've ever had to do. With a modular GPU and CPU, this thing was a beast back in its day. Unfortunately they all suffered from the bad soldering issue that plagued the entire industry during this time, so most of them are extinct by now. When my friend gave me this laptop, it was like hopping into a time machine.
