Calorie tracking tips that will save your life (part 6)
I've been tracking my calories for years now, so here are some calorie tracking tips PART 6 π
SAVING YOUR CALORIES
This tip is probably the main reason why I've been able to track calories for so many years now.
I'm the type of person who loves food variety and junk food.
So what I like to do is save as many calories as I can for these meals.
Of coures, majority of your diet should be whole foods but for some days when I'm feeling really peckish, as long as I hit my protein intake and my daily servings of vegetables and fruits, then I would allocate the rest of those remaing calories to filling out my indulgences as long as I don't exceed my calorie limit.
And if I'm tracking macros, then I would just keep to lower fat meals throughout the day to allocate more fats for my snacks hehe
I know a lot of people who can stick to their diet for the day, however, end up breaking it in the evening. With this approach, you're still getting in what you want to eat without the guilt of breaking your diet.
