This is Apple's Unluckiest Employee.
So people's opinion of working at Apple, has changed a lot since they announced the Vision Pro. Because for the first time in years, you can get paid hundreds of thousands of dollars, to work on something new. I was even thinking it might be the perfect place to work.
But this new iPhone update, really changed my mind.
You see, one new feature, automatically blurs dick pics on your phone, before you see them. At first, this sounds like a good idea for everybody. Unwanted nudes are usually considered a form of assault. But there is one person,
who's suffered badly from this.
And that's because this feature uses supervised machine learning models. And the way those models learn is by looking at a dataset of labelled images. In this case, labels are "dick pics" or "not dick picks". But before training the model, somebody
had to first create that dataset manually...
