Donald Trump's Unprecedented Attack on Biden Over Declassified Papers Scandal | USA News Live

United States President Joe Biden is "given white-glove treatment" by the country's authorities, his predecessor Donald Trump said on Thursday.

Biden weaponized the "injustice department" to "go after me for the very crime he actually committed," Trump said in a video address, referring to the separate documents investigations that both of them face. The Republican reiterated that he declassified his documents as president at the time of the alleged mishandling of government materials, while Biden was only the vice president and could not have done so in similar circumstances.

"At the very same moment when my ultra-secure Mar-a-Lago home was raided by the FBI, Joe Biden was harboring classified documents in his China-funded Penn Center and his unsecured garage," Trump continued. "While I did everything right, I did nothing wrong. Biden did everything wrong," the Republican claimed.
