Shocking African restaurant by ordering in their language

Ghanaians got very surprised when I started speaking the Twi language! Twi, along with English, is the lingua franca of Ghana, a small but populous country in West Africa. Also known as Akan, Twi is a tonal language and a member of the Niger-Congo language family, and thus related to many other languages in West Africa. Next time in Accra!!!
