STOLEN DODGE CHALLENGER – Arkansas State Police incredible PIT Maneuver at 114 MPH | PURSUIT
Trooper Duncan's Report:
On July 8th, 2023, approximately 10:08 pm, Communications advised Cabot was in pursuit of a white Dodge Challenger,
Arkansas 232 UCA, that was just stolen in their city, and they were requesting assistance.
I entered the pursuit as I entered onto Interstate 30 westbound from Curtis Sykes, becoming primary in the pursuit. The
Challenger was traveling at speeds near 130 mph while cutting in between other vehicles and passing on the shoulder. The
pursuit continued westbound on Interstate 30, through the south interchange, where Trooper Ellison became secondary in the
pursuit.
I was able to perform a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI) by using the front right of my TVI bumper and making contact with
the left rear of the suspect vehicle. This caused the vehicle to rotate to the left side of the roadway where the rear of the vehicle
struck the concrete barrier ending the vehicle pursuit. The driver, later identified as Marquette Muhammad, fled on foot into the
woods where he was taken into custody shortly after.
Cabot Police took custody of Muhammad, and the vehicle was towed by Adams.
Muhammad was charged with:
5-36-103(b)(1)(A): THEFT OF PROPERTY $25,000,
5-54-125(d)(2): FLEEING - FELONY -
VEHICLE OR CONVEYANCE - SUBSTANTIAL DANGER OF DEATH FD,
