Tony Northrup brings you the latest in photography news, including DPReview's purchase by Gear Patrol. He digs into who exactly Gear Patrol is and what they're going to have to change about DPReview in order to make it work financially.
Then Tony covers the Nikon Z8 recall for lenses not fitting - and Tony's personal Z8 is impacted by this recall.
Next, Tony covers the announcement that Auto-Capture (which takes pictures of moving subjects automatically in the Nikon Z9) was going to also be released as a firmware update for the Nikon Z8. Nikon deleted that part of their announcement and hasn't clarified anything! Tony shows you the video before and after they deleted that particular section of the video.
Finally Tony covers the two new Nikon lenses, which you can buy at http://SDP.io/NewNikon. Those are the Nikon 70-180 f/2.8 (which is a rebranded Tamron lens with $150 extra tagged onto the price) and the Nikon 180-600 wildlife lens.
