Ukraine has accused Russia of blowing up a key dam in southern Ukraine.
The alleged attack on the Kakhovka dam in Russian-occupied Kherson was described as the "biggest man-made disaster in recent decades" by a Ukrainian official.
Footage of social media shows water gushing into surrounding areas.
The dam holds water equal to that in the Great Salt Lake in the US state of Utah and supplies water to Crimea and to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant, which is also under Russian control.
Thousands of homes downstream from the dam are at risk of flooding.
