Safety Damar Hamlin of the Buffalo Bills went into cardiac arrest during their game against the Bengals Monday night. After tackling a Bengals receiver, Hamlin stood up and then collapsed on the field. Medical personnel administered CPR and Hamlin was swifty loaded into an ambulance and taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Players from both teams gathered around as Hamlin was resuscitated and lifted into the ambulance. The NFL suspended the game for over an hour before ultimately postponing it. Current and former athletes, CEOs, commentators, and so many more have expressed their concern for Hamlin and wished him a full recovery. He is reportedly intubated and remains in critical condition.
