The goal is to shorten the roof and pull it ahead 12.5" so that it resembles the 1955-1957 Thunderbirds. We cut the roof in half, shortened it 12.5" and welded the drip rail back together at the seam but now we need to connect the entire middle section of the roof by butt welding it back together. The issue we're having is that the back half is not flush with the front half so we're either going to have to shrink the back or stretch the front 🚨
