After this woman heard about an abused labradoodle that was up for adoption, she decided to give the dog a forever home where it could feel safe and loved. The adoption centre warned her that the one-year-old dog was petrified and malnourished, and had a hard time trusting humans due to its past.
The woman named the dog Bruno, who was even used to falling asleep standing up due to the previous abuse that it went though. On Bruno's first day home, he ended up laying on the owner's lap and slowly falling asleep, which was a great sign that he was already starting to feel safe.
Over time, Bruno started to play with other dogs, became more energetic and lively, and most importantly, he started to trust humans again, finally feeling like he's found his forever home.
