Since hitting the 200k sub mark I felt it was only fitting that tonight's teardown include not one but TWO engines in one video!
These two core LS architecture engines were the "worst two" of the last batch of engines that came in... I would tend to agree!
First engine is a 6.2L L94 from a 2013 Yukon Denali. This is a 403HP aluminum block closely related to the LS3, with the addition of VVT, and DOD. The Second engine is a 5.3L LMG, from a 2007-2009 Tahoe/Silverado or other GMT900 chassis. Its an Iron block, 310hp engine.
Both engines suffered major catastrophic failures that were likely preventable, but don't we always say that?
Why do I do this? I own and run a full service salvage business in the Saint Louis Missouri area called Importapart. Part of our business model includes stripping down bad engines and salvaging the good parts to resell. We do not rebuild engines, merely supply parts to those that do!

200k is just mind blowing. I never set out for this, but I am so elated to be here. I can't say thank you all enough.
I really hope you enjoy this double-teardown. As always, I love all of the comments, feedback and even the criticism.

Catch you on the next one!!
