Repair TRUNNION for Caterpillars BIGGEST Dozer! | Milling & Welding

We’re making full use of our milling machine table for this job! We have a pair of blade lift cylinder barrels off the D11 Dozer with worn out trunnion mounts that need repairing. We show the step by step process of the repair starting with using our milling machine to turn down the worn mounts. We then set up the parts in our welding positioner to weld a consistent layer of new material. Once the weld has cooled down we machine the mounts back to spec in the milling machine before finish grinding and fitting the new bearings.
