In the big battle of the movie, Tony Stark asks Doctor Strange if this is the version of the timeline where they win against Thanos, to which Strange replies that if he tells him then it won’t come true. From another character, this line is very true. The younger version of Thanos learns about his future regarding the snap and his death at the hands of Thor. Neither of these events come true in the end from his own perspective.
