Dog owners throughout Florida are being warned to stay away from the water after an alligator killed an elderly woman walking her dog. Neighbors say a huge gator lunged out of a lake at a retirement community in Fort Pierce and dragged 85-year-old grandmother Gloria Serge underwater. There are 1.3 million alligators living in Florida's lakes and waterways. Gator expert Kenan Harkin says to keep your dogs on leashes and not walk your animals near the edge of the water.
