Well it has been a very long tome since we have done a Ford engine build on the channel. And since this 64 Galaxie County Sedan station wagon came from the factory with a 289 Windsor small block ford then what better engine to put back in it than another SBF. Unfortunately despite trying to rebuild the original engine it ended up not being salvageable and we had to switch to a 5.0 HO that I already had pulled out of the red Fairmont Futura. In this engine build we are going to upgrade the valve train with a cam, lifters, pushrods, springs, retainer, locks, and timing chain from Comp Cams. A Wieand intake manifold from a fan, Mr. Gasket finned aluminum valve covers, Scott Drake pulleys, and a Holley carburetor.
