The 2023 Toyota Prius Prime XSE ($46,204 in Canada, $36,695 in the US) has been redesigned and now has a larger engine with even better mileage and acceleration than previous years. In XSE trim, the new Prius Prime has a claimed EV-only range of 64 km [40 mi], and can reach a staggering 2.06 L/100 km [114 MPGe] with the full hybrid system. The new engine is also capable of 220 horsepower and a mid 6 second 0-60 mph time. But does it have any deal breaking flaws? And how does it compare to even Toyota’s own Corolla hybrid which costs less? Thomas and James are eager to share their thoughts. Watch to see what they think! SUBSCRIBE!
