1988 SONY SPORTS WALKMAN Playing Ridiculously QUICK! – Can it be FIXED?

Here we have a 1988 Sony Sports Walkman WM-BF58 sent into the channel by Lee. It has a strange fault where it plays really quick. It does need some circuit board work, but the more I look at things the more I find wrong with it.
Will it be possible to get it playing again? Let's find out.
